Change is an inevitable aspect of life. Without change, there would be no butterflies, no seasons, no growth. There would be no beginnings because there would be no endings. March 2: Fast or Feast

March 5th for many traditional and liturgical churches begins a time of "fasting," a time of giving something up for Lent. It is a sacred time that lasts 40 days and ends for many on the Saturday before Easter. Join us for a Spirit Space Lent. February 23rd: The Spirituality of Winter

"There's an appointed time for everything" (Ecclesiastes 3). Though it's easy for us to resonate with the spirituality of Spring ("New Life!"), Summer ("Light!") and Fall ("Harvest!"), many of us have difficulty with the Winter. So many of us want to flee to warm weather destinations during the winter months, but what if the reason for the season is to teach us to stay put and hibernate? Life is all about learning our lessons and seeing and being a blessing. Hellen Keller said, "Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood." There are no mistakes, only lessons. When we see the lesson, we will then be able to also see the blessing. When that happens, we become a blessing.
