I often sign my written words, From My Heart. My heart is my compass. The intention of this Reasoning is to share the journey, the vision, for Spirit Space from my heart. June marks the second year of Spirit Space in our beautiful home. Our hearts have jumped with joy and felt the pain of loss over these years. The spirit of our intention to bring to the world a worship center that truly is all inclusive in faith is stronger than ever. It all comes from our hearts.

June 22: The Heart, The Fourth Chakra

The Hindu faith introduced us to the physiology of the chakras, the seven energy points where body and spirit interconnect. This Reasoning will be dedicated to the Heart Chakra. The heart chakra is often considered to be the place of balance. It is thought when one operates from this chakra, one is able to live in this world with great compassion.

What do you think of when you hear the phrase “A Change of Heart”? Heart and mind are often interchanged in sacred writings. Is there a difference between changing your mind and changing your heart? Many who have experienced spiritual attunement or awakening say, YES! Continue the journey from the mind to the heart or is it the other way, from the heart to the mind?

The heart is the symbol of so many things. Not only does it send life to our body but to our spirit. The heart has a cherished place in all faith traditions. The heart is often what sustains us against seemingly impossible odds. It binds us together in love. The heart knows no limits or religion. Confucius taught, “True knowledge lies in the heart.” Please join us for a journey into the Interfaith Heart.
