July 7: DREAMS
Reasoning by Pastor Sherry Petro-Surdel
"He who looks from the outside, dreams. He who looks from the inside, AWAKENS," wrote Dr. Carl Jung. Pastor Sherry will interface our night time dreams and their meaning and purpose with our personal and spiritual dreams. Both are needed to shine a conscious light on what would bring us freedom. This freedom and light frees others, too. Just as America has done for two hundred and thirty-seven years. Today, we will also be celebrating the freedom of the dream for ALL citizens with the Supreme Court rulings on gay marriage in California and the end of DOMA. June 30: Native American Spirituality
This Reasoning will be a Trilogy Tribute to the Native American Wisdom presented by Pastor Sherry with brief experientials by three of Spirit Space's members. The heritage of the Native Americans runs deep in this beautiful country. "Spirituality is not religion. Religion is not a native concept; it is a non-Native word. There is a sacred place at Spirit Space that honors most of the world faith traditions. It is our meditation room. This Reasoning will begin our Interfaith month thru symbology and music.
