Reasoning by Pastor Sherry Petro-Surdel
January 18th is Dr. King’s birthday. His words echo through the hearts of many. Forty eight years later, “The time is always right to do what is right,” or “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.” Join us for a time of timeless truth.

January 10: The Parable of the Good Samaritan
Reasoning by Pastor Sherry Petro-Surdel
Last month we spent time looking at the Aramaic Jesus. We looked at the culture, customs and language of Jesus. This Reasoning is the Parable of the Good Samaritan with the perspective of the culture and time of Jesus. It is quite possible that the message Jesus may have been communicating was about breaking down the social structure that the religious traditions had created. This Reasoning is timely not only with the political and religious issues of our time, but comes right before Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
